More than two hundred years ago, Francisco Goya created the paintings “The Nude Maja” (1797-1800) and “The Clothed Maja” (1800-1805), which received considerable public attention. These works were a challenge for their time. Francisco Goya presented the image that is not an object of desire, but an embodied desire itself. “The Undressing Maja” is an animated work that conveys my vision of Maja's transformation as the symbol of changing of moral frameworks and censorship boundaries through time.
