Dancing Geisha

In the late 90's I fell in love with the work of director, Akira Kurosawa and took my first trip to Japan. Today, Japan is my home and the beauty of this land inspires my work.

Dancing Geisha is an original creation made on film, without the use of photoshop or compositing. For years, I have played the same song as I direct my subjects to close their eyes and move freely to the music.

The collector will discover the song played to create this series.
