silent strength

When I saw this tree, so much smaller than the lot behind it, so exposed and yet radiating such a silent strength, I had to stop to capture it. It, though so small, standing out in this intense way. As if it considered the forest behind it its backup. Confident enough to face the world alone. Just like in life. We all have our backups. But even without those we can be and we are strong enough to overcome every challenge and are able to get over anything and continue our journey on our very own.
