EXHIBITING THE INVISIBLE, 2021
The Discovery of the Transparent GIF
This piece started out as a research into the first use of transparency on the Internet. Dating back to 1996, we can trace "cleardot.gif" as the first case. This original file remains at the top layer & center of the piece... invisible. Transparency in digital images created a whole new dimension of creativity.
