Sparks at Dawn | Above Oregon

This aerial panoramic image was captured high above Sparks Lake in Oregon. After a long trip of overcast weather and tough conditions, it was a pleasant surprise to witness this incredible moment at sunrise. The dark, stormy clouds parted just enough to reveal bursts of vivid color in the sky while a break in the breeze created pure glass reflections. This was one of my favorite mornings of photography in my career.
