Mount Doom aka Mount Ngauruhoe erupting a sky full of stars. Capturing this image is one of my fondest photography outings to date. I stood there picturing what it must have been like the last time the mountain erupted in 1977, a long time before I was a passenger on this amazing planet of ours.
Mount Ngauruhoe in New Zealand's Tongariro National Park is a beautiful sight whatever the conditions, but i believe in the dead of night illuminated by starlight is by far the most impressive sight.
