Asymmetric

This pattern was made by a developed version of spirograph based on ideas from the "Fourier series". The generative process results in both symmetric and asymmetric patterns, which are all cyclic within their own respective domains. This is an indication of highly ordered yet visually asymmetric phenomena in nature. "Asymmetric" is the 10th and the last artwork from "Guilloche2D Collection".
