Stillness in Chaos

This photograph was taken in the depths of a cenote in the Yucatán Peninsula during the height of the 2020 pandemic. Before it was a photograph, it was a vision designed to depict the world that human civilization was living in - suspended in darkness, a potentially rocky bottom, and rays of hope.
