Purple Bricked Road

This character is one of the many from the fantasy land where hardships and stereotypes that are associated with black people are transformed and are seen as extravagant and beautiful. All the paintings in this style are scenes from this world. I wanted to reimagine bad situations as magical, this painting captures a scene of a homeless man in a shopping cart.
