Death of Socrates

An original poem written and narrated by me in a classical 4-verse format, inspired by the iconic neoclassical painting of Jacques-Louis David (public domain artwork) of the same name. As one reads the poem, the aim is to showcase synergy of the two art forms. The striking visuals match the emotions conveyed via my words.
