This young Syrian refugee has just safely crossed the Aegean Sea from Turkey. An extremely perilous journey undertaken in unseaworthy dinghies by those seeking to escape war. Remnants of used dinghies litter the beach. An image of a world gone mad, but also an image filled with hope.
