Priska x Ornella Fieres, disintegration attempt

ORNELLA FIERES works with analog imagery from the turn of the 20th century – a time that was coined by a fascination of occultism in combination with technology – and processes with using self-built apparatuses, tweaked algorithms, or artificial intelligence. Her piece disintegration attempt (2021, NFT including sound) visualizes the concept of digital information not being able to disappear: every digitized moment or its dissembled data is bound to exist eternally in the endless digital realm.
