Purple & Green Velvet

In 2017, I drove with a friend to the island of Sommarøy, as a very good aurora forecast was announced some days earlier. When we arrived on location, the aurora was already dancing, and we set up our camera to start shooting. Little did we know back then that Lady Aurora was going to reveal its magnificent colors as successive green and purple veils all night long, literally until the break of dawn. This is my favorite shot from that night, as it depicts the delicate nature of the aurora.
