My works are visualizations of imagined spaces, often inspired by my own memories of growing up in 90's Hong Kong. A visual trope I've revisited is the simple idea of a light beam through these spaces - a common ephemera that's visually familiar, but nonetheless undefined. A sci-fi laser gun. A farewell transmission. A prophesied visitor. It illuminates while hidden by its own illuminance.
