Desert Oasis

Months before our first child was born, we headed to the Southwest in January. We had longed to visit this part of the country and witness firsthand the vast desert landscapes filled with red rocks and otherworldly formations.

The first stop was Sedona.

After hiking the Cathedral on the first day, I tracked the light to the other side of this beautiful rock and found some hidden slickrock covered in puddles perfect for reflections. I found silence and solitude and was at peace by this oasis.
