Many times, in the African culture, hair is one of the symbols of pride. Her hair is thinning and her crown is breaking apart. But, she's trying to hold it; prevent herself from breaking. She wears luxurious dresses with words of affirmation, yet her skeleton still creeps up and about defining her. And just like her, we're all crumbling in one way or another.
