The Annunciation

The meeting of the angel with Mary in the eternity. The meeting takes place outside of time. I made the angel as a woman to show her androgyny.

The angel said to her, «Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus.... He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end». Luke 1:26-38
