Milkyway Above the Clouds

A couple of weeks ago I was able to capture a bucket shot. The most difficult shot I’ve ever taken. To capture the Milky Way above a city of over half a million people with the clouds blocking all of the light pollution.

I started my hike at 2 AM and only had 15 minutes once I got to the top to get my shot before the sun started to come up. It was incredibly cold and difficult, but I could not be more happy with the result.
