Under Frosted Giants

I took this image during my first real photography road trip. After a long day of driving from Joshua Tree, we arrived at the bottom of Sequoia National Park and made our way up the mountain road to see the landscape transform into a winter wonderland. When we arrived at a parking location my friends ran off into the snow while I grabbed my camera. As I chased them into the forest, two of them stopped to look up at the massive organisms in the snow so I yelled "freeze" and captured the moment
