I am not a morning person and as much as I love a good sunrise, I seldom get up in time to witness one. The magical Montana sunrise fizzled out after a promising glimpse of pink clouds. Discouraged and frustrated, I walked to the edge of a weathered dock overlooking Lake McDonald and admired the rainbow-colored rocks glistening in the sun beneath me. I snapped this photo and could see hundreds of tiny suns reflected off the water. Turns out my sunrise mission wasn’t a total failure after all.
