I can think of only a handful of times that I had to rush to take a photograph. On one of my photo trips to Hawaii, I was driving along the coast and noticed the sunset was starting to produce some vibrant colors. I immediately found a beach and set up my tripod. As the island sun began to set I created a few long exposures to capture the movement of the ocean. A 45-second exposure made the water turn to glass and the clouds to a silky smooth texture. Letters From The Sky was born.
