This piece is special to me because it was made during a time when I was trying to come out to my parents. At the time, I had a kind-hearted boyfriend who I loved. I wanted my family to meet him, but I let fear take control.

Ironically, it was shot inside my parent’s bathtub.

I locked this away because I was scared of it, but you should never have to hide who you are or who you love, even to your family.
