Fire In The Sky

I knew that with a dramatic sky this location had the potential to make a great image, but I didn’t expect to ever see a sunset like this! I quickly set up my camera and tripod as the sky seemed to burst into flames all around me. I shot a series of frames and then… ran out of film! This was the seventh and last image that evening. I simply took a step back and gazed upwards in awe as the lightshow continued for another ten minutes.
