A night of very little sleep, and wrought with frustration. We awoke at 4am to try and catch the only lunar eclipse of 2021, only to be met with overcast skies, and a moon setting behind the nearby mountains.
Determined not to give up, we drove to a nearby overlook and set up our equipment. By a stroke of luck, our perseverance paid off and we were rewarded with a tiny gap in the clouds, and a bright orange moon peeking through right at the moment of totality.
