The Heart of Darkness

Having hiked for 4 hours with 45 pounds on my back with camera and camping gear, I finally found a peaceful and windless mountain pass to set up camp. The only company being, my book, a campfire and the starry sky.

These star trails are a merge of 113 individual images and represent the relative motion of our planet to our solar system.
