The ghost of the woods

This photo is the result of several years of following tracks and many hours of waiting. In the area where I live this elusive animal is very shy and wary of human presence.

One winter morning, snowing, with temperatures below zero, after placing myself in a strategic point an hour before sunrise, this beautiful fox appeared and lay down a few meters away from me under a fallen tree to take shelter from the cold and I finally take the picture I had dreamed of so many times.
