Buzz on the Moon | The Creation of an Oil Painting

Buzz Aldrin on the Moon is one of the portraits of the great achievers in science from my series "Gravitas". The purpose of this series is to celebrate the heroes of science and their achievements. For me, the moon landing of July 20th, 1969 is one of the most beautiful and dignified acts that humanity ever accomplished. The striving to do the impossible, to be eternally curious is what gives humanity its moments of glory. This is the process of creating this immortalization of a pivotal moment.
