Two Fathoms

"Two Fathoms" shows the twin forces of control and chaos flowing alongside one another. The work springs to life as splashes of deep phthalo blues and bright cobalt form an undulating rhythm of color which swirls restlessly. Day stitches these foundational moments together, adding to physically painted marks with digital brush strokes alongside the sonic landscape of her studio.
