IPHIGENIA, PRIMORDIUM

In Ancient Greek mythology IPHIGENIA was a young and beautiful woman, a daughter of King Agamemnon. She was born in the year when a great gift was promised and Iphigenia was the one who had to became that «gift». But during the Trojan War the King Agamemnon offended the goddess Artemis. The king had to sacrifice his daughter as an apology to the goddess.

In my art work I have completely changed the concept of her, I took the best part of this myth and showed this image in our modernity.
