Aloha Drip

I captured this Alpina Zerumbet, aka Shell Ginger, flower during my travels around the rainy island of Oahu. The plant gets its name from the individual shell pink flowers resembling seashells and its rhizomes releasing a ginger-like aroma. The drooping position of the flower in addition to the rain droplets inspired the name, Aloha Drip.
