Miscarriage, the soul of the child gone before it has a chance to live. This piece is for all the little souls that didnt get a chance. After experiencing this loss myself i needed to create a memorial piece.

The lighting of a candle by the one who is entrusted with guiding the souls from the living to the afterlife. One in four pregnancies end in miscarriage, this one is for them.

For all the souls too small to guide, the Grim Reaper lights a candle in tribute showing a small human-like side.
