Melting Planet

How did this planet start melting? did climate change cause it? has a meteor hit it? Activation of volcanoes? Or did it get out of orbit and got close to the sun? No one knows the exact reason, and no one dares to set foot on the planet to find out! 2160x2160px The final loopable output is generated from my original acrylic painting.
