Portrait Of A Girl With Hair

The final piece in my series exploring hair and fur, “Portrait Of A Girl With Hair” is based on a drawing I did using gestural lines that ended up looking like a layer of fur. A happy accident, I found the image to be unusual and exciting. With this animation, I am intentionally furthering that alien beauty by breathing life into her face and draping her in an otherworldly “gown” of hair that is at once a piece of clothing and an extension of her own body.
