Thomas's Ball

I deployed in 2014. The guy that slept in the bunk next to me constantly stayed in his bunk. I always wondered what he was doing in there because his bunk was surrounded by drapes. After my sanity started to decline I began thinking that he was being accompanied by a floating orb. This piece is about what I imagined he was doing in there.
