Frozen Yosemite 002: El Capitan

After I captured my dream shot of Yosemite Valley blanketed in snow I drove down into the valley to capture this shot of El Capitan. The fog hugging this massive granite rock formation made for a dramatic and beautiful scene

The scale of El Cap never ceases to amaze me. It is something you just have to see in person because photos don’t capture how massive it really is

It was important to me that I captured the emotion I felt in the moment both visually, and with the music that I scored to it
