Read their names. Out loud. Every single one of them. These are the names of all the unarmed Black Americans who died at the hands of police in the United States between 2012 and 2020. These are the names of all the husbands, wives, sons, and daughters of black families that never came home because they “matched a description”. These are the names of every life taken away too soon because of fear, prejudice, systematic racism, and police brutality. We stand behind these names. We stand for BLM.
