Fountain of Youth

This piece depicts a monolithic fountain of eternal life. Created to sustain a single being at the cost of all life around it.

I wanted to depict how one narrow-minded being, acting selfishly, could drain the world around them for their own benefit. Assuming that life everlasting has more value than a limited one. Obsessing over time rather than enjoying what time we have.

A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts.
