Watching the Sun Rise

A dragon and their passenger take a brief repose on a clifftop, and watch as the low winter sun makes its first appearance over the mountainous horizon and the sea of pines below them.

This piece marks a very personal moment in my self-education; the first time I was satisfied with a monochrome colour scheme, and the first time I felt properly satisfied with where my painterly style was going.
