Venus - Bringer of Peace (2/7)

This animation was inspired by the 'Black drop effect' of Venus, which is when the silhouetted planet is observed touching the edge of the sun, creating a teardrop shape.

2 of 7 in a series of abstract animations inspired by The Planets suite by Gustav Holst. 

I recreated and played a short looping section from each piece, then animated it, taking cues from both the music and the planet itself.
