Socially Distanced Dreams

I created this in an attempt to capture the essence of the year 2020. Having spent over an year socially distanced from everyone else, I used to get similar dreams, being indoors/away from the sun made me feel almost vampire-ish thinking the sun would burn me. The final piece felt poetic, so I wrote a little something:

"You are in your house, I'm in mine. Lingering your touch, that felt so divine, Your warm embrace, is my only reason, For eagerly wanting to cross this line."
