Captured in Jordan, Hong Kong. The stack of neon signs are gone now. The city has been infused with the glowing haze produced by its omnipresent neon signs. This saturated element of the city starts to fade as rent costs rise, maintenance and gov regulation steps in. Neons define HK’s character, the city lost its characteristic without it. I question myself what weights more— a city's cultural aspect or development? I add visual volume by post editing, just as how heavy it is to preserve it.
