A Blight on the Soul : Day 8

The 8th day, the light had led him to an exit, once he was out of the dull dark cave he was relieved at first...

Until he realized that the world the light had led him to was nothing but a cave with no walls. Just as dull, just as dark, just as lonely. Creatures gathered around him curiously as if he were a strange tree, he slowly began to blend into the environment and fall softly into deep sleep.
