⫷NATIVE⫸

⫷NATIVE⫸ is inspired by Native American Folklore and iconic wooden structures – Totem Poles. Natives made them out of Cedar trees and believed that cedar tree is a portal to the past and connect them with their ancestors and with the Creator. Colonial officials attempted to assimilate Aboriginal People by banning cultural expressions and practices. Colonization threatened existence of totem poles. These great monuments left a strong imprint in my mind and memory. *2160x2160 video+🔊
