Oscillating between the bounds of art and architecture, “Play Realm” is a subtlety surreal space designed to examine the iconology of iconic architectural elements such as arches and staircases. Informed by their function and form, these objects are instantly recognizable as architectural elements, thus can only be seen as such.
By employing the theory of deconstructivism, Play aims to relieve the inanimate pieces of their static bounds in a playful imagined reality.
