A street scene in Petticoat Lane. I had always seen cartoons and heard jokes about this type of sign but this was the first time I actually saw one. That woman on the left seems concerned but most others are taking it with a grain of salt. Shot on a cold, dreary day in London but with a fast film (tri-x).
