The butterfly represents transformation, and though everyone sees the beauty of the butterfly, we don’t often consider the darkness before the metamorphosis. Integrating eyes into my piece represents my belief that what we always seek outside of ourselves is always within us.

Therefore, my Butterfleyes aim to bring healing and transformation through introspection.
