1-bit Woodblock: Asanegami

Based on a 1930 woodblock print by Torii Kotondo titled "Asanegami", or "Morning Hair".

In 1930 authorities considered it too provocative and banned it. Also it was the first example of shin-hanga purchased by Steve Jobs.

For a fun, modern twist I have replaced the comb with an iPhone showing Instagram. Comb version also supplied.
