Memento Mori

Shapes of dreams form like silhouettes in the desert skyline. I see them play in the hidden valleys by the dunes. Dead thorns rising through the soil, Casting shadows over the forgotten lake we today only recall by name.

Single Exposure of a dead Vachellia Erioloba enduring the atmospheric but very harsh desert environments of Namibia 2019. This image makes me think, remember, wonder & dream of a life that once was.
