Giant Egg

Probably my favorite photo in my Beijing series. As you might be familiar with “The Nest” or the National Stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympics, there is also “The Egg” which is the “National Center for the Performing Arts.

The distinctive flattened-dome shape and glass surrounded by an artificial lake creates an atmosphere of tranquility. Its reflection that is clear at night forms a charming giant egg.

I took this at the start of the winter season. I was lucky enough to capture this on a perfectly clear sky.

This includes a signed and numbered 20 x 30 archival print with a certificate of authenticity.
