Taj Mahal - Immense White Marble Mausoleum

In our Asian history subject during my Secondary School days, one of our project was to create a miniature of a famous landmark. We were assigned to create ‘Taj Mahal.’ We used card boards to build the walls, and a soft clay to shape the dome. I believe we were able to put it up together beautifully. At that time, I dreamt and hoped to visit this place one day.

Fast forward and after 18 years, I fulfilled my dream to travel to India and see this gigantic ivory-white marble structure. Stunning I can say.

Taj Mahal is an enormous mausoleum complex built by order of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to immortalize and house the remains of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
